To make the most of child play under EncoreABA, our Registered Behavior Technicians (supervised by experienced Board Certified and licensed Behavior Analysts) administer treatment through play. Nuanced Social Skills Training, including child choice, task variation, rewarding attempts, and the use of positive reinforcers, is integrated to address the needs of children with high functioning autism.
Core social skills are mastered first, followed by more advanced conversational skills that lead to sustained interactive play.
By providing your child with a wide range of communication tools for expressing feelings, needs and desires, interaction with others becomes more enjoyable, which builds self-confidence in social settings. Children under Encore care consistently show a desire to grow their proficiency in social interaction and communication.

Each child’s program is designed to accommodate your schedule while keeping in mind the best hours and environment for your child to learn and interact. For some children, this means learning one-on-one, on weekends, at home, while others may prefer to interact in a group setting at school.
